Farmers Update: Join PM Kisan Yojana

According to the official website of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi, saturation campaign has started to provide benefits of PM Kisan Yojana. This village level saturation campaign will run till June 20, 2024.
To provide the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to the eligible farmers, the Central Government has started a nationwide saturation campaign. Through this campaign, registration of people who have been left out of getting the benefits of the scheme will be done.


This campaign has started from June 5 and will run till June 20 so that the benefits of this central scheme providing financial assistance can reach the farmers. At present, under the scheme, Rs 6000 is given annually to the beneficiaries.
The government is giving Rs 6 thousand annually to the farmers. PM Kisan Yojana was started on 24 February 2019 to meet the financial needs of the farmers.

PM Kisan Yojana provides financial stability to the farmers and they are able to improve their farming and agricultural activities. Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, the central government gives Rs 6,000 annually to farmers. Under PM Kisan Scheme, Rs. 2000 (Two thousand) are sent to the account of each beneficiary farmer in 3 times.

This village level saturation campaign will run till June 20, 2024. A campaign is being run to connect farmers with PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Through the campaign, every eligible farmer of the country can join this campaign and avail the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana.
These works will also be completed. Apart from this, farmers can also get other important works completed through this campaign, in which work related to purchase of fertilizers and seeds, crop insurance, e-KYC and purchase of agricultural equipment can also be done.

When will the 17th installment of PM Kisan come?

On 28 February 2024, the 16th installment was released by the Central Government in which an installment of Rs 2-2 thousand was given to the eligible farmers.

This money was transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through DBT. Each installment comes at an interval of four months. In such a situation, the next four months from February are ending in June.

However, there is no information yet as to when the installment will be released officially. A new government is to be formed soon after the Lok Sabha elections. In such a situation, if media reports are to be believed, the 17th installment may be released in the last week of June or the first week of July.
